February 1 Reopening with Upgrades! |

The Cumberland County Library is reopening its doors to the public beginning at 9:00 am on Monday, February 1, 2021. The library will continue to abide by the Governor’s executive orders and will be allowing up to the 35% capacity maximum. The reopening is also serving as a launch for some new exciting services and upgrades for the public.
A self-service fax, scan, and copying machine is now available to easily handle your document needs.

Library Announces New Thursday Hours |

Beginning Thursday, November 19, 2020, Cumberland County Library will be extending its regular hours to include Thursday evenings. In addition to Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the library will now be open Thursdays from 9AM - 8PM. |
Remote Use of HeritageQuest Now Available |

The New Jersey State Library has negotiated at home access of HeritageQuest for New Jersey residents without a library card. This access will be in place for as long as the current COVID-19 situation exists. For Cumberland County residents, please contact the library at

All county residents are eligible for a FREE library card which enables access to several digital services that can be accessed from anywhere.
The Cumberland County Library will be closed to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. However, you may call the library at (856) 453-2210 ext. 26101 if you do not have a library card and we will assist you in obtaining a card number remotely so that you may access these services.
